Luis Álvarez (1996) is a Galician composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer specializing in film scoring, ambient music, and music for audiovisual media. Trained at the Conservatorio Superior de Música of A Coruña and holding two Master’s Degrees in Film Composition from ESMUC and the Royal College of Music in London, he has developed a minimalist and cinematic musical language in which piano and ambient textures play a central role. His multi-stylistic approach has enabled him to build a solid career in advertising, combining acoustic instrumentation and digital production to create narrative soundscapes, placing his music on licensing platforms such as Musicbed, MusicVine, and Uppbeat and gaining traction on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, which has allowed him to build an audience beyond his strictly cinematic work.
